Styling tips for Curvy Tops

One of the things I enjoy about working with clients in person and getting to know their lifestyles is customizing a look to suit their environment.

In Florida, some customers wear the more sheer curvy tops over a bathing suit and a little skirt so they can walk around town first and have lunch out of doors before hitting the beach.

In a business setting, I recommend a cami underneath, choosing different colors, gives a varied and interesting change. Long necklaces enhance a vertical sightline running down the body and create a more dressy look. A silk scarf creates a different neckline and also brings a splash of color to brighten the face.

These curvy tops can shift from daywear to evening wear by changing from pants to a skirt, or vice versa. Add jewelry, and a scarf, and go! Here’s the Greek Island top with a hand-dyed Shibori scarf for a pop of extra color.

Here’s a look at how I wore mine on Mother’s Day.

I was able to get out and enjoy a quiet walk on the beach.

Whether young with leggings or Stonewashed distressed jeans, or young at heart, these tops are versatile and adventurous. With fabrics from around the world, we can all pretend to travel and yet feel adventurous while at home.
